Not getting Additional Levels from Weapon or Focus to skill Gems

Not sure if a bug or not. I've taken all my gear off and nothing. Spark, Orb of storms, Mana Tempest, and Archmage all level 14. I have +4 to level of all Lightning Spell skills on my wand, and +2 to level of all spell gems on my focus. Unequipping one or both does nothing to gem levels or damage DPS meter.

I'm at a loss.....I've tried everything I can think of.

I’m having the exact same problem. I tried reinstalling the game and it wouldn’t work either..
Lost a lot of damage can’t even play on my sorc anymore very annoying.

any news one this ? my spark build is totally bugged.

Folks I was having the same issue but I was able to solve it today.

Im my case, the issue with the Lighting skills was related on the SET OF WEAPONS.

For some reason my character was not receiving the skill buffs when using the weapon was assigned to both sets, with both sets assigned I kept switching between them to see if the skill increase was applied but it was not.

It worked removing the wands from both sets, and assigning the wand JUST ON SET 2, this way the skill gems were properly increased, unfortunately I was not able to find a way to keep both sets working, so I am using only the second set for now
