Untargetable bug in the Mud Burrow following me around and dealing damage

There's a rogue bug/maggot type thing following me around in the mud burrow. i can't deal damage to it or target it but it's still able to attack me and interupt my recall. /bug Bug Report ID: #2512451544, just some context.

Same for me, an entire pack of them that I can't target or deal damage to. Even with gas grenades I can't damage them.

This is still occurring, happened to me after releasing an essence rare.
