Sacrificial Heart Deleted in Act 1 Cruel

I managed to miss using the item at the alter from the previous act, and as a result it was in my inventory, undeletable, until I was in act 1 of cruel doing some general gameplay.

I accidently opened my inventory and pulled the sacrificial heart out and dropped it on the main screen, however there was no warning to delete the item it simply vanished. Reran the are it drops on (Utzaal? i think) and was unable to get another to drop.

Exactly same thing happened to me.

I managed to obtain it in Utzaal even though it mainly drops in Aggorat and then deleted in Cruel 1 entry :D
I'm trying to obtain it again in both places, if I manage to drop it again I'll let you know. ^UPDATE, no need to re-obtain it:

It's in your imaginary pocked, simply go to the altar and interact with it

Going back to the altar, without obtaining the heart again, allows you to simply place it in the altar, grab the dagger stab it and obtain those sweet 2 skill points :)
