A general review of a monk user
Hey there, i hope you are interested in my pow of the game after 50h playtime.
Let's start to say that i'm a terrible poe1 player, i never did a uber boss, i never did a build of my own, and i never played ruthless. I'm also NOT a player of Elderscrol or other games like this. That said, i really like most of poe2. I like the pace, i like the skill tree and overall the intuitivity and the tolltips with the explanations. Tbh it would be faster for me to say would i would like to see improved/modified: 1) a simple thing, the bell and the ice shard of backflip (can't look at the correct name right now, but you get me) are not "targetable" as if they are enemies. I often find myself running like an headless chicken around them, and even shiftcombat can't help. It would be great if the would be threated like a enemy (onw which i have the healtbar activated) 2) can truly be frustrating to die and to have to clean the map again. I'm fine to lose the loot i have on the ground, but do not make it so much worse that add the injury to insult and i have to clean all over again. This is (probably) even worse than losing 10% of exp on death. 3) in poe we can drop skills, and they can drop leveled and/or with quality. Here you can not, and also i feel like i am forced to choose just from the monk skills. It feels to me like if i have few choices. 4) the cold builds are much stronger than lightning or even worst wind....now, i would not see cold nerfed, cause is funny but not overpowered, if possible i would see the effect of shock improved beyond the simple 20% more dmg, but maybe with a lower chance to hit and a lower chance to inflict ailment. This is all for now, i like POE2 very much and even if it is punishing, i would like to keep it as it is and i hope you won't simplify it too much as some are requesting.
