[FIXED] Client.txt - Whispers are missing the "From/To" tag

Edit: Fixed as of 0.1.0e patch

The From/To tags are missing in the Client.txt file for all whispers.
This makes it impossible for trading tools that parse the Client.txt file to know whether the whisper was received or sent.

____

Example of POE 1 logs - Whisper received
2024/12/13 18:40:31 xxx xxx [INFO Client xxx] @From PLAYER_NAME: Hi, I would like to buy your xxx listed for xxx in xxx

Whisper received:
2024/12/13 18:40:31 xxx xxx [INFO Client xxx] @To PLAYER_NAME: Hi, I would like to buy your xxx listed for xxx in xxx

____

Example of POE 2 logs - Whisper received:
2024/12/13 18:40:31 xxx xxx [INFO Client 30340] @PLAYER_NAME: Hi, I would like to buy your xxx listed for xxx in xxx

Whisper sent:
2024/12/13 18:40:31 xxx xxx [INFO Client 30340] @PLAYER_NAME: Hi, I would like to buy your xxx listed for xxx in xxx

Pretty sure you agreed to a ToS regarding third party tools and a bunch of other stuff....

This is like going to the police and complaining that the cocaine you bought isn't giving you a good vibe.
Uh, just checked my client log. I wonder if that is intended.

Trading interfaces allow to track trading whispers and are heavily used by big traders. If you're in the middle of a map in POE 1, you could press a button that would send a chat message to the buyer to let them know that you're busy at the moment and will message back asap. You can invite them to party with a single click, and to trade with another one.

There is nothing illegal in that. GGG official stance regarding macros is "One single server action per button press". In trade interface context, this would mean a single button press should send one message only. Most, if not all, tools are already designed to allow exactly that.

I don't think this is intended, considering in game we still get the "From/To". It's just not logged somehow. Hoping for a fast fix.
Bumping this because I also develop a tool that is affected by this issue, and to mention the best work around I can think of. You can check if a certain hotkey is being held during a trade message.

These tools are widely used on PoE 1 and GGG gives them their blessing. They're not against ToS so what the hell are you talking about?
Bump.

We went over this already when the 'From/To' was (accidentally?) removed from PoE 1 client.txt, then restored. I guess the issue persisted on PoE 2 branch.

Update: Fixed with patch 0.1.0e
