Faustus' Sell vs Buy market rates fucked?

Accidently bought 300 abyss multitude scarabs at 1:1 chaos, my bad.
Turned around to sell them back and markets 8 scarabs for 1 chaos.
WTAF?!

check faustus currency exchage, is it the same in there?
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.
I'm talking about faustus. :/
The ratios constantly change.
u can price it for 7 if u bought it for 8 and when people buy they buy the cheapest ones first. so maybe not insta sell items?

@OP: Name your own price and forget about the insta sell rates!

thou don't price an alt for a mirror be real u can alt over the price buy price and u get to see the buy price and from there figure out how long u want to wait. u can even see how many items go for a certain price then see the next value and amounts.

I really think they need some balancing on the market thing. Too much scammy potential right now, and instant processing on said scams.
Buying/selling at spot price is usually always bad but you never lose that much. If 1:1 was the best offer I'd bet they'd move at 1.5:1 at worst.

Maybe it's worse for low liquidity items but something like reflecting mist varied wildly in div value depending on the seller on the other side.
