Tainted Jewelers Orb cannot be used on Corrupted Desert Brigandine

Attempted to use a tainted jewelers orb on a corrupted desert brigandine. This has been attempted after both a three and four socket bench craft. Regardless of the number of existing sockets on the brigandine, the system displays an error message that "Failed to apply item: Item already has the maximum number of sockets"

not a bug, its ilvl is to low for more sockets.
you will need to force it with crafting bench and pay the vaal orbs.

You can still force it with bench craft if you really want to. But that's a lot of vaal orbs.
