Why PoE Should Have a BULK ITEM Auction House

First of all, by "Bulk Item Auction House" I mean we should be able to automate the buying and selling of items that you'd often buy repeatedly and in large quantities:

- Currency
- Maps
- Div Cards
- Fragments
- Scarabs
- Fossils
- Compasses
- Etc

Manual trading should NOT be removed entirely as it's one of the things that makes PoE special, but should be limited to items you do not have to continually re-stock, such as:

- Armor
- Weapons
- Flasks
- Jewels
- Etc

The reality is that having to manually trade for every tiny thing simply is not adding FUN to the game after the initial novelty wears off, and it takes up a huge amount of time that could otherwise be spent actually playing.

As a buyer, it's frustrating having to sift through the pages upon pages of A: price fixers who have no intention of ever selling at the listed offer and B: people who are afk or too busy to trade.

As a seller, it's frustrating having to choose between A: a semi-afk, multi-hour selling session or B: risking getting interrupted multiple times throughout a mapping/delve/etc session, having to drop everything and ruin your flow to make a trade.

A bulk-trading auction house would solve all of the above while not completely removing the uniqueness of manual trade for non-bulk items.

That would already be a step in the right direction. After a couple of days, no one wants to do 1C trades anymore, and the current trade system become nothing but a annoyance.

Anything to reduce dependency on TFT is always a welcome suggestion.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

GGG's original trade philosophy was to purposely make players avoid trading.

also it was a way to avoid market manipulation.

a decade later, our premium stash tabs are optimized for trading. trading is so much easier with item highlighting.

our drops are balanced around trading.

the best way to gain upgrades is through trading.

newer items are made to have very high RNG and are "unmodifiable" which could be useless to you but could be very useful to specific people, hence players are encouraged to trade.

YET we still dont have automated trade.

as for TFT.

i honestly think GGG or some of them is/are in cahoots with TFT and other players.

if GGG leaked the divine/exalt switch early to certain people, they would make serious bank.

also our temp league challenge rewards highly favour people who can run carry services.

most players cant complete the challenges alone. but thats ok. we can line the pockets of other players

More trade => less item drop / power. We don't need that.
In light of recent events, let me also add that this would significantly lower the power of certain individuals to completely ruin your endgame farming/crafting experience by blacklisting you from 3rd party tools.

you have zero clue what you're talking about.

Absolutely this!
It would make the bot and tft situation just worse cause certain players would be able to flip an entire market upside-down by buying out all the items and resell them on higher prices.
Don't think that's something the game is really in need for as there are plenty of other more important areas to fix first. But with PoE2 so soon ahead non of that will happen cause they will fix all the minor issues of PoE1 in PoE2.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.
