All wisps on map boss?

I dont know how the wisps are distributed after we exit the woods. I feel like they get evenly split among a couple monsters.

So, if we clear the map completely but leave the boss alone...then do the affliction run and leave: do all the wisps stack onto that single enemy and make it uber insane? or is the buff basically just a fixed stat?

nope. i just tested it myself with scuffed results. doesnt work sadly.
