If i have 400 ES shield and i get 100% Increased Defences from Equiped Shield i get 400 additional Life?

dont think so, due to how is written my guess is it will only convert the item energy shield before global modifiers or skill tree modifiers.

i imagine you won't get life from reserving life with ivory tower or stacking STR with Geofri's Sanctuary either.

for it to work the item would need to behave like energy blade.
