Persistent Game Crashes: Tried Multiple Fixes, Need Help

Hey everyone,

I'm dealing with a persistent and frustrating issue in Path of Exile that I hope someone here can help me resolve. I emailed support and they weren't able to help and offered the forums as a possible option.

Whenever I try to manage my stash—specifically, holding down the Control key and clicking items in and out rapidly—the game crashes to my desktop. This happens randomly, whether I click slowly or quickly, and it's easily replicable. Sometimes it just pauses the game (almost like a lock up) and other times it crashes. This happens with anything while holding down control, unid/add/remove from stash.

Watch the performance of the PC shows no notable spikes when the crashes happen. I'm using less than 50% of my memory, CPU is around 15%, and GPU is around 25%. No spikes on the SSD M2 hd either.

What I've Tried So Far:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game
Cleared cache in the AppData folder
Verified the integrity of the game's client content
Ensured all video card drivers are up to date
Tested with both DX11 and DX12 settings; crashes occur on both

I recently upgraded from a 3070 TI to a 4080 so I don't feel it's a graphic card issue since I'm having the same issue.

Operating System: Windows 11
RAM: 32 GB
Motherboard: Z690-P WIFI
Processor: i7-12700KF
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (16GB)
Storage: 2TB SSD

If anyone has faced similar problems or has any insights on possible fixes, I would greatly appreciate your input.
