Repeated CTD

In the Silo map I have had three crashes to desktop in quick succession while fighting the Beyond boss Ghorr the Grasping Maw. The map is being influenced by the Searing Exarch and I have activated a couple of altars. Never had this problem before, hope it does not continue. Not sure what to send; does this game create a crash log?

Edit: Went back and fought it some more, crashed again. Went back once more and just ran past it, continued and cleared the rest of the map including the boss. Returned and fought Ghorr slowly and carefully, this time managed to beat it without crashing. Oh, and Einhar was with me for all of this; I finished the last yellow beast after Ghorr was dead.

In the 600+ hours I have been playing this game this is the first time I have had issues with CTD, let alone four in quick succession all while fighting the same enemy. Is the Beyond really so powerful that they can kill the program itself?!

This has been happening for me as well. I crash to desktop every time I'm hit by the tentacle field attack, the one with slowly advancing wall of tentacles. No other attack causes the crash for me.
