Cant add a friend

I Cant add a friend for some reason. I just installed the game today, and i am trying to add a friend from the social menu, in the friend invite button. But everytime i look for him, it says the character doesnt exist no matter what i do, i cant even whisper him, and he also tries to do it, and it looks the same as me. it says "The specified character doesnt exist". I tried with his character name, even with his account, and i cant find him and play with him
