Flamewood Totem Support (DOES NOT FUNCTION)
I will post this as a bug but most of what I am about to say could also fall under feedback for this support gem.
It works as intended for most 'mapping content'. Certain mechanics for this support skill gem do not work. I am using Vaal-Ancestral-warchief totem supported with Flamewood-totem-support as to apply ignite as a Chieftain. First: When the Eater of Worlds, pinnacle boss, uses his basic attack and hits the totem, the totem DOES NOT trigger Flamewood-totem-support. This ability "GTConsumeBossTentacleDonut" is the only ability that he will do until damaged to a certain % of HP. Not allowing me to do any damage and thus I am not able to progress the fight. Second: The doors for Syndicate fortifications do not attack and do not trigger the totem as well. (What I've been doing is standing on the door and getting one of the syndicate members to come outside to hit me with an aoe. Thus splashing onto the totem and sending an avenging flame onto the syndicate member. Allowing ignite to prolif to the door. This is suffer and takes 30-60 seconds minimum. Third: ALL unique sanctum monsters ignore the totem taunt directly and do not auto attack it all. I must put the totem in the wake of their aoe spells to get it to trigger. This would be fine except for two of the unique have very frustrating skills. The miner never actually attacks and the mines do not trigger the totem support. The blink-blade-unique (sorry I don't know the name) only ever blink slashes onto you. PS: It also appears that certain mechanics like Vagan's spinning attack dodges the projectile and the projectile loses it's target. Suggestion: Please just let the totem trigger at least once when first summoned regardless of the enemy attacking it even with some internal CD is fine. The trigger could also reoccur every few seconds without being hit as well. I do not think this would make it too strong. It would just be a large functionality QOL. Thank you for reading. Fourth:
The spires in between abyss lich boss fight do no damage and do not summon minions until killed (unsure on that last part). Thus I cannot trigger my totem to kill the spire-totem. Failing the fight. Despair. |

Confirmed. The build is great until it stops working, because of weird interactions. Every other attack by Eater of Worlds including arena tentacles, slam, beam triggers it. But not the base attack? Is the base attack coded as if there is no origin?
I 2x the suggestion that the skill should trigger once on totem spawn and maybe reoccur periodically if not hit. You can't release a support gem that adds a new playstyle and then have blatant problems like this, this tells me that the support gem was not tested properly prior release. Please fix. |

I might be making this too long winded.
I also tested ignite chance for the Avenging-flame-proc on the flamewood-totem support gem. I've done an extensive amount of maps and boss testing where I stand there and let my totem trigger the avenging flame on a single target. It appears that some monsters just do not get ignited. I've been at 95% (in-game tooltip) and with flammability 131% for all of my map progression. I've also tested base 135% ignite chance on the passive tree increasing to 171% with flammability. It does not help. Note* I've excluded the obvious ignite and fire resistant monsters from my testing and I look up all the monsters I test on poedb to check for niche interactions. I am unsure if the avenging flame trigger effect is missing it's target (unlikely as the projectile landing is an AOE effect), or the ignite is not being applied. Requires further testing. Ye had to get my buddy to come into eater of worlds to get his hp to the point where he would do moves to trigger it pls fix ggg

" I'm unsure why it's taking the aspect of being a melee attack as it is a triggerable SPELL. It should not take on that effect. Are you sure about this? |

Can Confirm, my friend is playing something similar and the build essentially doesn't work with multiple specific mechanics for some reason.
