Season is about to start...so what's your plan?

I am a new player ( finished the campaign and started early mapping over a month ago).

I started randomly with a marauder and pushed over a boneshatter build as I started to learn mechanics. It has been quite fun tbh.


I would like to hear from more experienced players what are your plans, and what builds are you fancying so that I can get some inspiration.

I think I might try an Elementalist, I enjoy very much blasting large groups of enemies quickly and grabbing all the good stuff along the way.

Boneshatter is still among the very best builds to start and on the more easy side of things. So chances are if you already made some experiences with it you are gonna advance in content way faster if you play it again. Good opportunity to learn crafting btw, since it is no problem to craft most of your gear(all if you really go for it) on a boneshatter build, since the modern precise technique version kind of needs zero uniques and good rares with accuracy, resists and suppression get the job done. I recommend carns guide for it(slayer!), he has a crafting recipe for every slot, some of them crafts might not be max value on sc trade, but learning to craft is totally worth it.

regardless of what build you play, if you haven't installed path of building yet, that would be a very helpful thing to do and there are also yt gzuides for it out there to get started.

Other options: cold dot elementalist, toxic rain pathfinder...yada yada yada

No idea.. anyway the new league is like the previous one, not crazy and as usual 90% of players will quit in a month maximum.

Haven't actually planned anything.

How can i have plan without knowing the league cosmetics?
They are really taking their time with releasing presentation of those, at this rate i will see them ingame before i see them on website :^D


If it is really good cosmetics i'll go tornado shot deadeye
If it is bad cosmetics i'll go explosive arrow elementalist


Difference is that to min-max explosive arrow takes 2 days and 200divine orbs
to gear tornado shot will take 1 month of flipping mirrors and divine orbs because you need around 20 mirrors of kalandra to finish the build.

which also means u'll get 40challenges on tornado or 38 but only like 20 on explosive and be done.

I guess if you are streamer you could just beg guild and get it faster (which is the way non ssf streamers play) but for us normies we will have to work for that currency.

Good thing op now knows that after having fnished the campaign for the first time...

Fuzzy Duckzy has good vids on how to get started with tornado shot with like ~50-100 divs and some crafting knowledge and then proceed to farm mageblood. Just saying, no juggling mirrors needed, in case op decides to go for the dream of an op bow build. ;)

Usually I'd go for some tanky mapping build and rush to 100 in deli maps but we have yet another league mechanic that does not interact with maps and I tend to not enjoy them as much.

That's why I have choosen a speedtrapper Trickster to exessively farm Ubers since I've only killed them a couple of times.
