[3.22] Does "between you and linked target" include the linked target and yourself?

Guardians' new Harmony of Purpose node uses the wording "between you and Linked Targets" three times.

Does this include yourself or your linked target?

Is there girth/range on "between" or does it mean the allies' hitbox has to intersect the link?

Linked skills have a beam that links you with your ally. I assume the beam itself receives the buff and not either player.
