Help with Pohx's RF Jugg Build
TL;TR : I need guidance on how to fix my build because I stuggle on red maps.
Hi, so I've been having a blast in PoE whith this build (Pohx RF Jugg) after so many hours playing through only the compain over and over again for like 200 hours. Not only did I learn so many mechanics following this build but I am also starting to better understand the game thanks to Pohx. (God bless you Pohx) Now, I've simply hit a wall and I don't think I can climb it alone, I need some help with the last miles of the build. Where I struggle is on tier 14+ maps, especially on tier 16 and on boss invitations missions (quests), I have the feeling that I am doing something wrong in my build, I think I may have too many Uniques equiped. The scepter and body armor I crafter following Pohx's crafting video and the rest I just bought. After level 93, Pohx suggests to drop Purity of elements which is honestly a great source of elem res for me, so I feel like I am doing something wrong especially because I struggle to survive corrupter tier 14+ maps and with boss's, large packs of monsters like expedition monsters sometimes one tap me even on full flask effects. Consider dropping the gloves and replace them with rare ones.
An armourbase with life and life regen plus rolling fire exposure on hit with eldritch embers would be a good start. The current ones dont do much for you, as your boots already provide a way to explode mobs and those gloves also prevent you from using a proper curse like flammability. |

Agree with Orbaal regarding the gloves, Arsenaths and Legacy of fury is redundant, you don't need both so use rare gloves with proper exarch/eater implicits and useful stats.
Other than that try switching your Firetrap setup into your 6 link armour and use RF on a four link. The build draws most of it's single target dps from fire trap so you should give it priority. Clear should still work out with a four link plus the explosions from your boots. In this context, try to get yourself a proper elder helm with gems supported by concentrated effect/burning damage for a pseudo five/six link at least. Ideally a 7 link with 30% more ele damage but you can leave that upgrade for later. Put RF in the helmet once you got it. You can check the inquisitor in my profile for an example of how an RF helm should look like. I am not at home atm so i can't check your defenses in POB but i'll take a look later if noone else does it until then. Don't see anything big from looking at your tree/gear. |

The biggest thing that stands out is that your gems are all 20/0
Sell each to a vendor with a gemcutter's prism for each gem and then go kill stuff to get them to 20/20. Also what do your resists look like? It appears that you painted yourself into a corner by stacking armor gear (which is good) but it looks like you can replace a couple items that give you more. You might lose some armor here and there but gaining damage or more resists would be more beneficial. Get a Fossilized spirit shield (minion damage implicit) with +1 to all fire spell skill gems and some resists. Same with your Sceptre, get an i84 base (40% ele damage implicit) with +1 to all fire spell skill gems. The phys damage and crit chance aren't doing anything for you really. The belt has good stats, but not enough of them. Get the Immortal Flesh unique belt. |

I changed the gloves, costed me a bit of currency to do that but I got fire exposure and minion damage implicits on it. I also did the gem thing, I thought that I needed to sink 20 gemcuter for each individual skill that is why I dind't do it. I am not very good at crafting still learning, I made a lot of mistakes these past days, I think I wasted around 100c doing that, but I'll try to get the helmet (nice helmet on the inquisitor btw) and for the scepter, I tried to forge a good one 2 times but since I am unlucky every time I augment and regal I get bad rolls. My resistances are the following : without | with purity of elem Fire : 85 (110) | 85 (134) Cold : 35 (35) | 59 (59) Light : 78 (78) | 83 (102) chaos : 57 (57) armor 9720 (15k with determination) Do I try to fix this with finding good jewelry or is there another way ? |

Just get more res on your gear. Typically every gear piece should have 2 or even 3 resists on it. You have chaos res almost everywhere but that's pretty much it. Try rerolling some pieces for dual res and/or use the crafting bench to slap some on them if there are free suffixes. Capped resistances aren't some luxury in this game that you can have if you want more defense. They are a mandatory base you need to even play properly. Making it to red maps with uncapped cold res is quite the feat in a way, speaks volumes for how tanky RF juggs are.

" Your armor is pretty low for your level. I am 92 and my armor is 30k which is still kind of low. My chaos res is absolutely terrible at -57% lol (my next project), but my other 3 resistances are all above 150%. Annoint your amulet with Arsonist for a good damage boost and some % life regen. I think it's 2 verdant oils and 1 azure, and Cassia will annoint it for you. |
