extra damage to injured foes
A suggestion to remove Arch Nemesis mod "extra damage to injured foes".
It is absolutely ridiculous to have mechanics such as low life and life reservation available for players to take advantage of and then introducing a mod to punish them for doing so. Assuming player reserves over 90% life (such as me) this mod gives the monster 180% extra damage... Imagine playing hardcore... you basically cannot reserve life on hardcore. I play a lot of legion so in my experience I suddenly get offscreen leap slammed oneshot...(zero damage mods on map btw) of course 49k armor has zero effect and for me to be able to get 60k+ I would need mageblood(and it still wouldn't be enough and we all know that 60k armor is really decent amount of armor). Now of course there is a way to counter this and guess what that is - having enough damage to instakill the monster or be faster than it which sometimes isn't that easy even with aurastacker(though I could if I had mageblood and I indeed will have it soon) I've once encountered a rhoa red beast with soul eater (which basically means infinite soul stack until I kill it) with extra damage to injured foes and turbo on map... the only reason I killed it was thanks to changing hatred for haste and finding turbo shrine but it cost me 4 portals and I lost that map. EDIT - I've been thinking and removing of this mod might not necessarily be the only solution. For example if reserved life would lower the "maximum life" calculated for this mod then the rest of unreserved life would still be calculated by percentage and could reach 180% extra damage(that is if you stubborn GGG insist on having this mod in game(like you insist on having Arch Nemesis in game even though you claim it has been removed)) KranglingKearKames https://i.imgur.com/zB2RgAs.mp4 https://imgur.com/a/mafhrmH Last edited by Yusnfczauj#7062 on Jan 25, 2023, 4:59:29 AM Last bumped on Jan 24, 2023, 4:31:15 PM
