Exploding Crystals feels like pre 3.0 volatile affixes...

I just had a close call because loot explosion covered the crystals. I also failed to look at the mod, but I'm a noob in HC.

IME thats unreliable anyway as its quite possible to kill rares without even knowing they were there.

Just ripped to this after 35 hours in HCSSFR. I think Exploding Crystals is the only thing that could've killed my overleveled Jugg in that area, but yeah, having to mouse over the text for every monster because of one mod is Not Fun.

for all intents and purposes dying to those crystals is an entirely random event. cant mitigate it, cant move away (since its basically instant) and cant see it coming because its practically speaking not telegraphed at all.

ggg should spend more time actually playing their own game, maybe these absolute dogshit gamemechanics wouldn't be here.

i mean, ffs, at least make this shit a friggin mapmod or something so we can avoid it, idk. as it is now, this mod only exists to infuriate people. or maybe to make totem builds viable but nothing else. gfys ggg
