Memory of survivors cult

Hello all...
If you read this, you'll probably think "just try it and see", but I'm no trial-and-error guy, my motto is "understand first, then DO"...
So: The memory says"players in area take on the form of harbingers". What does that mean? Is it just an optical thing, so do I just look like a harbinger, or are my abilities changed or something like that?

I am guessing, but I would imagine that you take on the form of a Harbinger with no changes to your skills.

Skills stay the same, not many changes to visuals as well.

Yes, against my nature I just tried it, different looks on my char, but everything else stayed the same...

Everything is the same, the only "effect" is that you have a chance to summon enemy harbinger minions on kill.

Also all loot are harbinger shards.

To be exact, all your outfit and weapon MTX are just disabled and ugly bright blue glow around you is added, same as harbingers have. Which is really top class idea. GGG do not have time to fix various visual issues with MTX or with skill visuals being too oppressive when combined, but they do have time to add content like this, disabling things people have paid for.
