What is the max - lightning resistance you can get?

I read that max cap is -200 lightning res for doryani prototype but some say there is no cap? who is right then

Used to be no cap but some patch set max to -200
Some ppl just don't read patch notes |

if you have -200 lightning resist, they have -200 lightning resist. oh, you edited your question. players get -60 lightning resist from both kitava curses. youll need another -140 to hit the 200 cap. and then some additional to counteract any passives or positive resistance mods on gear. The cap is -200. Any amount they have that would lower more than 200 is discarded. It just so happens that mirrored rings give insane numbers on jewelry we havent seen before and they need some % of the 100 to reach the -200 cap.
There is also the possibility they really like the stats on the rings/ammy's with - light resist and its not a downside for them to have more negative lightning resist like it would be for most builds. Oh tempered by war probably screws up a portion of their lightning resist by giving them 50% less, which if you have -100 lightning resist that would turn it into -50% lightning resist meaning that they need a lot more minus to lightning res to reach the 200 cap.
