Enchant "Used when you hit a rare or unique enemy" does not work with mines

Hi,
I am playing Eye of Winter Miner triggered by Blastchain Mine. I enchanted my Sulphur flask with "Used when you hit a rare or unique enemy" and it does not get triggered. Is this intended? Intended. Mines are not considered "you" even though they use your stats for damage and other things. Same thing with Totems and minions, they are separate entities.
