You can already randomize your itemname as long as there's enough space for multimod + prefixes cannot + suffixes cannot. This allows you to change the name with chaos orbs. The Scripture Orb would still be nice in cases where this straight up isn't possible like essence crafting rings for example.
The issue with Mystic Orb is pretty obvious. I'm sure you've traded with enough coc players to know why this is a bad idea even at mirror tier rarity. https://poe.ninja/challenge/builds?name=coc |

" can you elaborate ? edit: nvm you mean that players can abuse it to make offensive names. Well, obviously you can use a modern filter to detect the usual blacklisted words. " Damn. The last time I played a CoC build, so many years ago when the meta used to be ST and you literally vomit rainbows at things before it got nerfed, I called my build "CoCsure". Seems like I was the most tame compared to almost everyone on that list. XD PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |
