as it says : Maps found have 200% more chance to be Favoured Maps, Non-Favoured Maps found in your Maps drop as Basic Currency Items instead

elder and sirus guardians can be on your favored maps, so you can still get those. Shaper guardians have their own special maps, so youll never get them. uniq and synth maps will also be turned into currency.
imo, its a terrible passive. |
