Static Blows - 10% chance to shock applyable by a totem?

A character with Ancestral Bond (two totems - cannot do damage onesself) - cannot proc the shock from Static Blows. (10% chance to shock the enemy on hit with Lightning Damage) I don't like this, but I could deal with this, _if_ totems could apply it.
Can Static Blows be applied by a totem? (Assuming the totem does enough damage for there to be a minimum shock duration.) |

The totem uses your skills. Your skills shock enemies on hit with lightning. Therefore your totems shock enemies on hit with lightning.
Note that you can still proc the chance to shock with ancestral bond, but since you deal no damage, the shock's duration is 0. | |
