Add betrayal scarabs please

We have sulphite scarabs and we have bestiary scarabs, why dont we have betrayal scarabs?

I have all the betrayal atlas passives allocated and I still barely get any Jun missions, I want to progress my syndicate board and its really annoying that I have to clear 10 maps before I get the chance to run it again.

IMO i dont think adding betrayal scarabs is a big ask after all there are scarabs for all the other content, if anything it seems weird that betrayal was left out.

I unironically love this thread, because OP is hitting on a very serious game balance problem without knowing it.

OP: the reason there are no scarabs for betrayal is because scarabs are the special type of loot which is supposed to come from betrayal, the way catalysts are tied to Metamorph and incubators are tied to Legion. Running Betrayal to get more Betrayal doesn't make a lot of sense, design-wise.

Now, it's completely understandable that you didn't realize this, because in the modern era of PoE loot is so ridiculously diluted and smeared around that anything can come from anything else. I get most of my fragments from delving, and most of my fossils from Heist, and nearly all of my breach scarabs from Legion and Archnemesis.

There is sextant for betrayal, that you can easily buy from market.

One solution to the problem could just make it so it's not possible to get Betrayal scarabs from Betrayal. If you want them, you'll have to either get them from the new operative strongbox or some other source that drops random scarabs such as Heist.

Then again, I can't imagine self-sustaining Betrayal scarabs via Betrayal would even be possible. Under ideal circumstances, you can get up to three scarabs from any one syndicate member, but it's not always a guarantee. It would take you a lot more than just three scarabs to raid that safehouse again, meaning you will eventually run out and have to get more some other way. I don't see why you can't have Betrayal offer its own scarabs.
