Omniscience: how to get good ES without int bonus?

See title. I'm having trouble getting a good ES total on my omni character because of the lack of intelligence's boost to maximum energy shield. Even cluster jewels don't seem like they'd help much (best a small cluster can give is 26% increase for 4 points). I'm already extremely point starved too.

Any tricky uniques/etc I'm unaware of?

Note PoB doesn't seem to understand the new hat implicit that gives extra ES.

I'm sitting at 6400 ES right now and I won't be feeling comfortable until 8k or so.

Your stuff looks pretty good. Are dying or anything? I'd think with that much ES and 90% evade, you should be doing pretty good? I'd actually be a lot more concerned that you don't have any damage.

I've always looked at defenses in tandem with dps. If you have a lot of defenses but are still feeling squishy, sometimes the issue is you aren't killing them fast enough. That's not to say everyone needs a glass cannon but just as dps uptime is important for us for true damage, dps downtime on the mobs is equally important for being tanky.

If you are still wondering though, the one I place I saw is that if you had a Crusader belt instead of Shaper, the 15% max ES mod is better than your % from body armour one. (T1 flat and % w/ 20% would get you close to another 300 ES).

Haha, I don't like dying, so yeah I prefer to be tanky.

I just respec'd from life and have been trying it out. Yeah damage is a bit low and I can stand there and shoot without a care most the time. I'm worried about nastier map mods and some bosses though.
