Hide filtered items on the ground option not working

like title says its not working when i press alt i still see all the items hidden by filter , anyone know how to fix it?

I think it only hides the graphics of filtered items, like you won't see a ton of items popping out of a chest or lying on the ground if the are filtered. When you hit show all items all the tags will still show up.
