question on new "unpredictable" keyword
The new tainted orbs contain this keyword. Does it mean that it is 50/50 or one outcome is more likely than the other? Because if it is not 50/50 it is "somewhat" predictable... but the other way looks too good to be true

unpredictable has been in the game since vall orbs at least and i seriously doubt it is 50/50.
In the case of the chances, stuff like the tainted versions of chroms/jewelers/fusings will likely follow what the normal ones do at the some sort of chance Tainted exalts, will have some sort of weighting depending on what can be added (mod pool rarity) do nothing or remove something. It's going to feel a lot more common to get a bad/meh result than something great. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

"unpredictable" doesn't even indicate a random process. It just means we can't figure out how to predict it. I'm really curious why they chose that term over "random".

"Perhaps it is a random scheme among some set group of results (like using a vaal orb) but there are several different sets of random patterns that are also subject to rng? group 1 has modifier outcomes w,x,y,z group 2 has modifier outcomes a,b,c,d group 3 mas modifier outcomes l,m.n,o And the probability of for each group to be the active one is subject to rng. ???
