[PS4] Epilepsy warning needed for Void Sphere, Storm Rain

I've been using Void Sphere for the past week and occasionally it will produce a large, vaguely (but not perfectly) circular white area that strobes quickly, covering about 30% of the screen, usually in the vicinity of where new enemies are entering the Sphere's influence. It is EXTREMELY bright and distracting, flashing several times within about one second and is uncomfortable to experience even as a healthy person who does not suffer from epilepsy.
My friend who was playing with Storm Rain on PS5 reports similar circular flashes of white when using that skill. It was so unpleasant that he abandoned using the skill. The effect is not consistent but happens frequently enough that you might see it once every few maps. I have saved video footage of this effect and can post it if it might help diagnose the issue. Hey, wanted to add to this that Explosive Concoction is doing this for me on PS5; happens pretty regularly, I’d say every 5-15 seconds. My character AtelierExplodae is where I’m experiencing it, if that helps track it down.

I just want to say that I never saw a big circular flash like that while playing Storm Rain on PS5, so it's probably caused by something else, or by a particular type of enemy or zone or something.
