Reforge the colour of a non-white socket on an item, turning it White, reforges the entire item?

Used the Harvest Mod as stated in the title on my Shavronne's Wrapping 6 Link. The Mod reforges my entire item instead while provided a white socket. Making my Shavronne's wrapping losing the 6 links and the stats of the item lowered. Is the mod supposed to work this way? If so, change the text to make it less misleading, if not, kindly do something about this.

" 1. the craft is not non-white socket to white, its turn a random socket to white 2. it does not reforge the item, only a single sockets color(and it can select a white socket to change white) did you buy this craft or have it on your bench? if you bought it it sounds like you got scammed. |

" Yea thats my understanding also, its only supposed to touch on the colour of the socket and not the item. I found this mod in my own harvest:( GGG should at least restore my item if this is a legit bug |

" GGG won't restore anything, even if you use an exalted orb on an item and it straight poofs like you did double corrupt and got worst outcome(delete item) and have it fully on video they won't restore it. |
