Scam = Ban?

Hello guys I got SCAM on trade 820. Tipical guy doing chayula pure breach ston. When that have all our exalted he leave.

I have reported himm, but I wan to know if this kind of action is a ban or I can do same to get some currency?

They can use it if they're looking for a reason to ban him... but I doubt this would be the reason they did.

The reason it does not matter. I just need to GGG confirming if u can do this without get a ban. Is a simple question. SCAM people in trades is a BAN or not? That is the question.

Would you run around committing acts that harm your neighbors if they were suddenly made legal?

I'd hope your reason for whether or not you want to try your hand at scamming others is a question of ethics and not consequences.

So you are asking if 1 scam = BAN right away ??
If that's the question, then the answer is NO.

GGG's procedure for this is that you as a player have to e-mail GGG support with proof of the scam. GGG then looks at the proof and if it's "approved", then a flag will be put on the scammers account. If he get enough of these, then he gets banned (sometimes warned first).

So all players being scammed, tried to be scammed have to e-mail GGG support with proof of this -->
- Chat logs (from client.txt file).
- Trade URL.
- Screenshot / video of the scam.

However GGG will NEVER tell you what action is taken against other peoples account so the only way for you to see if an account gets banned, is to visit his account page on this website and look for the status BANNED.

The problem is that if they did what you seem to want, the scammers would simply play the new game of getting people banned. They'd go around looking for trades, taping them, and hoping to get a scammer on video so they could get the guy banned. They would cause more trouble than they cured.

So there's no definitive method by which you can go out and start collecting heads, and there can't be.

Use TFT, do not use Random in game chat channels.

Get Chrome Browser mod for trade site.



Some hate TFT.. but its really only safe way to go for things like this. Which is still a risk.. but better chance as they have a reputation system.
