CLASS DESCRIPTIONS!!!

HAVE YOU PEOPLE READ THE NEW DESCRIPTIONS ON ALL THE CLASSES??? :D

I LOVED IT
not much "history" per se but description is A LOT better than before
Yes. The New Descriptions are quite awesome indeed. They all sounded angry at Oriath.
I liked the old ones better. The Templar's description made him sound like a missionary come to spread the word of God in Wraeclast, and I loved the phrase "he who strikes hardest, strikes last" in the Marauder's description. The Witch's made her sound more misunderstood than evil, and that felt rather tragic, which I feel fit the game's theme better. The Duelist wearing the fanciest clothes and being prone to dueling gave me the impression that he was a noble in Oriath, and that was good characterization, I thought. Now he's some sort of gladiator? He doesn't look like one. I think the new descriptions being monologue from the characters themselves (in the first person) felt forced a bit, like it wasn't natural, as if the characters wouldn't normally say those things in the way they're worded now.

These are my first impressions.
A man, shirtless, wearing black leather boots and long gloves, a torturer's apron at his waist, shank in hand, surrounded by dead babies.
Yes, the difference is that they shifted closer to the "criminal" spectrum:

The witch murdered children because poeple burned down her house.
The duelist killed a noble out of brash anger.
The ranger poached on nobles' fields.
The marauder slain many people to protect his tribe.
The templar is ambigous, it could be overzealotry.

The shadow has been stated to be a thrill-seeking serial killer and assasin on RPS.

Each of them have a somewhat valid reason to be exiled. Each backstory got just a little bit more evil.

According to the trailer the Templar just asked too many questions, but they may be changing that backstory.
