Game crashing when trying to run it on Vulkan on an R9 380x

Launching the game when Vulkan is enabled crashes the game after briefly showing a black screen.

Redownloading the game doesn't seem to work, nor does changing the rendering API to DirectX in the config file. Running the game as an admin doesn't change anything.

Any suggestions?
