Merciless Labyrinth Useless Timed Crank?

Hi,

So I'm playing on my necromancer, and I'm in a Merciless Labyrinth. I am fully exploring it for the heck of it, and I come across a random timed crank.

I've searched everywhere on the tileset and am generally confused.

I am seriously curious as to whether or not I missed something.


If a dev wants to see exactly what's going on, I am going to be sitting in this room for the next hour.

It looks like that timed crank is one of the ones that stops the saw blade from moving
