i had a friend with same problem with his canyon runs. solved doing this:

predictive mode + dx 11
and clean all game cache ( first time loading screens will be a little longer ).

to clean the cache u need to go in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile
and basically delete all the folders

and here too
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile

and delete all folders.

also check your cpu usage, never let it go to 100%, if it does so you need to manually cap it at like 95% using software like BES battle encoder shirase.

PS: also check you Content.ggpk file size in poe game folder, mine is 29 gig now, if u have old installation will be much bigger and it causes problems

PSS: also the server u play on is important. not all server are equal in cpu power or allocation, this is more a thing if u had istance crashes, not client crashes

thanks for the tips bud, but i already tried all of that. it helped slightly, maybe 15-25% less crashes but still at least 1-2 crashes per map.
Same thing happening to me. I just wasted three maps in a row from constant DC's on the harbinger pack. I'm going to stop playing until my BV char until this is sorted. Doubt it will be fixed though.

its been over 5 weeks for me now, i havent played since then besides to check if the bug is fixed or not. its not. and no bug report forum mod has responded to this post yet. its pretty clear to me that internally they know about this problem, but if they admitted it they would have to fix it and its just too many resources/money to rewrite how calculations are done when it only affects a few people. its doubly upsetting because i had just bought a supporter pack before i found out about this bug. Im just going to constantly bump this till i get a ggg response though.
you havent try that map 100% delirium fully juiced with a CoC VD build.
if you are in lockstep, as soon as u reach habinger pack you go at 0.1 FPS. i mean the actual fps are like 60+ but the game slow down at 0.1 fps ( while the local animation like the harbinger's tower are 60+ fps).
to clear the big harbinger pack need 15-20 minutes of slideshow, its like 60 min to clear the whole map, stuff like alva is the same.

if you go in predictive, you can fly in the map but u do no dmg because its like in lockstep so u are still way back, but at least u can explore the map KEKW.

servers are so weak compared to what some builds require
sounds rough bud. not counting crashes i can clear with occy self curse bv in 10-15 mins, but its the looting that takes the most time for sure (not like i ever get all 6 portals to loot).

it seems a damn shame that players get punished for pushing the endgame. i know of the overflow issue with dot damage and how if you do too much dot damage, it'll register as no damage.

again, i understand this is such a niche issue and if they continue to ignore it and me, it literally doesnt affect them at all. i just feel massively disrespected of my time and effort when i spend 5-6 weeks grinding to get to endgame and then i cant even play the content. anyways thanks for the tips again man, appreciate it. hopefully one day we can all enjoy the game without the massive pitfalls of its performance issues. till then, ill be constantly bumping this thread and playing some last epoch.
