Doedre's Scorn not working at all?

Was testing out this interaction on my ignite build and it doesn't seem to make a difference whether I have the helm equipped or not. Tested with a friend in PvP and nothing (both with fireball and a stage 10 flameblast).

Shouldn't this be a significant damage boost?

Try to look in build section - topic "Make Doedre great again".
That build uses Doedre skin + scorn and seems working.

I assume you mean the increased damage per curse. How are you determining no difference?

If you already have 500%+ increased damage (for example), an extra 120% for six curses will not be so easy to feel unless you have a good sense of the build.

I was fighting a friend in PvP, and he had the same range of damage taken from the burn + hit with and without the helmet on.
