Use for new gauche glove implicit?
This is one of the new implicits and I'm trying to figure out what the use case is/if there is value since this has some cute stats. I am not as familiar with melee, is there a type of build this is good for? Last bumped on Jan 28, 2021, 1:30:08 AM

With the exception of the Archfiend Crown, which provides a pretty much irrelevant drawback, all of Ritual basetype offers a bonus with an invalidating drawback that makes you wonder "Why did you even bother?"
Sinister Gloves, thankfully, falls in between, by having a bonus that looks like a "Why even bother", but that in truth can become a plus with little to no drawback. The first natural thought is Replica Wings of Entropy, the actually more endgame-viable version of Wings of Entropy. Instead of the discordant Fire-Chaos base damage, Replica version offers you a full physical damage version with a lot of More Attack on main hand and a strong critChance base with offhand. a Sinister Gloves will give a reduced attack damage with main, which is mostly used for deliver a little blow, and will fuel the fury of a critical with off-hand. But, truth to be told, there are two builds that actually negate Sinister Gloves' main hand drawback. ... Shield Charge and Spectral Shield Throw, after all, counts as off-hand damage.
