Can not defer an item

Specifically, trying to defer a Screaming Essence of Anguish I already deferred once, total deferral cost is 105 Tribute, I have 111 tribute, it lets me select it to defer, but when I do it cancels it instead. I could defer other items just fine, just not that one.

I can confirm; this has happened three times to me.

In every instance, the item is on its last deferment with a red square. It will be lost if not deferred. It happens when I am at max deferred items and cannot defer any additional items.

I have sufficient tribute to defer the red square item, but when I select the item and click defer, nothing happens. It does not defer, nor does it give an error message. It does not give the "maximum amount of items" message. If I select multiple yellow square items to defer along with the red square item, they will all defer except the red square item.

My theory is that the "red square" last deferment items are not being tracked as deferred items and are excluded from the maximum deferred item count. Once the maximum is reached, they cannot be deferred because they would be in excess of the maximum limit--but because they already have been deferred, they also do not generate the maximum deferment warning.

This should be fixed; red square items should always be deferable if you have tribute. It is very frustrating to save a red square item for last and for it to then be lost. They should work by the same rules as yellow square items, which is that once they are deferred, they remain deferable so long as they appear in the rewards window.
