THANK GOD they delayed next league for cyberpunk release
Sometimes in business you have to make the best decision you can based on the information available to you at the time. Chris made a reasonable decision based on a reasonable expectation of how CP2077 would perform at launch and into the holidays. I know I certainly expected to play it into New Years at least. We can all armchair quarterback based on hindsight, but that doesn't mean our opinion is worth anything. When you can predict future events with 100% accurracy then feel free to give Chris a call. I'm sure he would love to hear from you.
Also, after how the stressful the launch of Heist was for both the development staff and the players, allowing a little more time for polish seems a prudent move. This would also presumably allow the developers to have a little more holiday time with their families without potentially needing to deal with the demands of a new league launch. Sure, as a player I would have loved a new league to play over the holidays, but I can understand why Chris made the decision that he did. I hope everyone, both devs and players, enjoy the holidays. |

I'm not complaining on waiting, I'm letting people know that they haven't moved away from the 3 month schedule like most have been wanting.

" I see. I misunderstood your meaning. I edited out my post accordingly. |

" Most or a vocal minority? I want to keep 3 months, they just need to up QA/reduce the wealth of additions per league. 4 months also hurt their income, and Chris has also said he doesn't want to have lots of event near the end because people burn out before next league. You just wasted 3 seconds reading this.

"Most posts I've seen that remarked on the development schedule as it is currently, whether that's the actual majority or a vocal minority I'll admit I don't know. I just know that it's a common criticism that usually gets expressed and it's obviously not one GGG is interested in addressing. |

" You think they spent that extra month to work on 3.13? Dont make me laugh. |

" just depends what you're talking about im talking about their release schedule, aka their schedule being delayed. obviously you're refuting their development schedule being delayed. and we're both right " |

Delaying a league for post-holidays is a total fail regardless of the reasoning behind it.
GGG has lost countless hours of user playtime (and the associated microtransaction purchases) with this Flashback event flop. Mid jan new league is probably the worst time for a new start as people have to catch up with work around that time. Last edited by lolerman#1964 on Dec 20, 2020, 5:57:29 AM
