Awakened PoE Trade - is it against ToS?

That kind of uncertainty breeds topics like this where players discuss the way they think things are, the way they think things might be, and the way they think things should be. I believe it's healthy to investigate, debate, and share obfuscated information like this and that players will only stop seeking these kinds of answers when the community dies. In other words: it's natural, possibly even intelligent. Anyway, if we wanted to be really helpful in this topic, instead of just replying, "If you use the program you roll the banhammer dice just like any other 3rd party software." We could pick apart each function of the program in question, 'Awakened PoE Trade', and run it through the sourced items in Sarno's Macro guide. In the end we would have a list of functions the program provides and whether or not each of those functions: are confirmed allowed, are a grey area, are confirmed not allowed. This would be an excellent starting place for users to determine if the tool is worth it for them, or can be used 'safely' if they stay away from certain functions. Ideally this kind of resource would be attached to the 3rd party programs instead of in random topics on the forum but...it's not and so we have topics like this. |
