Iron Hideout Competition #3. Voting is closed, congrats to all!
 Welcome, this is the third Iron Hideout Competition, a friendly event and something to have some fun with during the league. Made by the community, for the community. No entry fee, no cost, just some good ole fashioned fun. Build a hideout base on a specified theme, vote for your choices and enjoy some community offered prizes. This is totally unofficial and hosted by FallMakesHideouts and Guggelhupf. Original competition created by Pixxelkick. On the northern edge is a ruined church with a neglected graveyard. And when the rain never ends even the dead learn to swim.

Living near a forest and lake, I thought it obvious to use them as inspiration for the hideout. I remade Stately Hideout into a liveable mansion, where my main character, Scion, lives. Here, she's throwing a huge party, meet her companions and guests.   Space Garden ► Video/Screenshots Autumn but in space! Sci-Fi/Nature . I decided to make a small and cosy colourful hideout. Every NPC is within reach of the portal. I love the contrast between the purple space background and green vibrant flora. Congratulations to all the winners!  This is a community made event. Build a hideout base on a specified theme, vote for your choices and enjoy some community offered prizes. Anyone can submit hideouts they have designed, however we have a few rules on what counts as a valid hideout for the competition, to keep things fair, see Rules below. Once the submission period is over, the community will have a few weeks to vote on their favourite hideouts that were submitted. Then, we will announce top voted hideouts. We run this event as something to do for fun as people finish league goals.  Name and idea are by Pixxelkick. The inspiration for this event is the show Iron Chef! Like the show, entries must follow a specified theme. And what is that theme? Well, that will be announced soon.  ► Theme vote starts: Sunday 11 October, 2020, 8 AM EST ► Theme announced, submissions open: Sunday 18 October, 2020, 8 AM EST ► Submissions close, community voting opens: Sunday 29 November, 2020, 8 AM EST ► Voting closes: Sunday 6 December, 2020, 8 AM EST. Winners will get announced soon after.  Community theme vote results Make a hideout for AUTUMN! Leaves are changing, days are shorter. Maybe it is time to harvest the crops. Maybe it is back to school. Maybe it is something else. This theme can take many forms, and we welcome artistic liberties to be taken on the thematic concept. Your hideout MUST fit this theme! Stories, lore, etc are encouraged but make sure the theme is seen in the hideout, the story should not be the only place the theme is.  By popular request. You may submit to one or both categories. Both categories have separate submissions and voting. Important: MTX category is by popular request, but due to limited prizepool (this is a player run event) prizes will be for the non MTX category. Non MTX category: No MTX hideouts or decorations. Can only be a hideout you could obtain via normal means in game without spending any currency in the MTX shop. It must be 100% decorations from Favor (Excluding "Free" decorations like crafting bench of course). This is the main category. MTX category: All hideout bases and decorations are allowed.  We contacted GGG and while we are allowed to have the event, we are not allowed to have any sort of ingame prizepool (so no exalts, sorry!) The community has generously offered some prizes. Send a message to Fall if you want to add to the list! Due to limited prizepool (this is a player run event) prizes for the top 3 are only for the non MTX category. The MTX category is for bragging rights only.  A commentary/showcase by Brittleknee on Twitch ► Stream 4 December 8 AM EST also will be announced on Brittleknee's Twitter ► All submitters who want to be on the stream can be. There will be a signup form before stream. ► Optional: jump into a discord call with Brittleknee during stream and talk about your hideout, the things you're proud of, how you expanded on the theme, etc. She could then take a tour of the hideout and you could point out different things. Hideouts that are just copies of existing submitted hideouts will be disqualified, IE "Took a popular hideout, tweaked it a bit, resubmitted it" 6. Any form of plagiarism will result in an immediate disqualification and ban from any future Iron Hideout competitions 7. And finally, the most interesting rule of all and why we call it "Iron Hideout Competition"... The submitted hideout must follow a specified theme. Submissions not containing a .hideout file will not be accepted. We do recommend linking atleast 1 screenshot in your submission post. It is very recommended you upload a youtube showcase vid because it's easier to understand the hideout.  Once the submission period is over, the community will have a few weeks to vote on their favourite hideouts that were submitted. There will be a new thread for this. Then, we will announce top voted hideouts. Individuals voting are encouraged to please heavily weigh how much the submitted hideout sticks to and represents the competitions theme! We use to run this competition at end of league but we are moving it to midleague. ► Can I use challenge trophies, old benches from before the master update, rhoa dinners or other exclusive non MTX decorations? For the non MTX category? No. Even though it is not actual MTX, it is a decoration you can't buy with favour even if you want, and is something all players have different amounts and sizes of. ► I missed the submissions end by a couple hours, can I enter still? What's the reason of moving the competiition to mid-league though? Was it related to contest not being popular enough or people rather taking a break from PoE, or is it something else? The Bother progress: 11%

" The last one was a pretty good success, just we think more people would be still playing and interested near midleague. We got some feedback from people that saw competition #2 near leaguestart, when it was near the end of submissions, that they wanted to join if they saw it earlier. It also gives a break from PoE for us organizers rather than running a competition in the last month of the league.
