[Question] [Mine Mechanics] What Happens When Arc Mines Are Effected By Blind ?

I'm running Arc Miner build

With this combination the mines inflict blind on the enemy, but also reflect the status of blind on themselves, so what happens when I detonate a mine with a blind? I don’t even know how to test it properly.

So does that mean that mine can have effects on it and is treated as a creature instead of an object?

Well. I did not expect a Mine or a Trap could be blinded like that since, well, they blow up after use, but I guess "additional detonation" make them not re-create themselves after explosion.

Put it simply, your mines go... blind, yes. This means their Accuracy is halved. This is, of course, significant if you are using attacks with Mines (like, a Kinectic Blast Mine with a Wand, or a Rain of Arrow Mine with a Bow), unless there is a way to make them Immune to Blind (I don't recall anything like this yet exists).

Since usually Mines are used with spells, though, the Blind will not affect them negatively. You will, however, gain all the bonus of "against blinded enemies" with your Mines' spells.

I wonder if GGG thought about it. It could give an interesting boost on old-flavoured Pyroclast Mine if one focus a lot on the "against blinded enemies"
