Delirium Orb question

I used a delirium orb and played it for the first time today. It showed an amount rewards of 5 and 5 items that I never got because the simulacrum never ended. I finished the boss and the map but the simulacrum kept running even after I had wiped out every monster on the map. So what am I missing? How do we end the simulacrum and get the rewards ?

everytime you complete a tier the rewards drop. they don't drop at end they drop right when your next tier starts.
