Crash on startup

Hi,

POE worked just fine on my PC until today. After today update I was able to run it once but after that it keeps crashing on startup. Game starts launching and I see a black screen for a second, then desktop is showing for a split of second then black screen again and then crash. There is no error popup. I tried to run game in window mode and uninstall / install again but that did not helped. Can you please advice how to fix this?

Here are client.txt logs

Hey there,

Thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble!

Would you be able to PM me your dxdiag info please? Cheers!
Was there ever a fix for this because my game is doing the exact same thing?
I'm having this same problem as of this morning as well. Anyone have any luck? I tried installing a fresh copy and everything.
Same issue for me.
I stepped away from the game for about a week, then decided to play today.
I started the client, which installed an update - as expected - then as soon as the gears animation started, the application aborted with no message. I then updated graphics drivers to no avail. I guess I'll take another week off.
So I believe I found the cause of the issue for me and was able to work around it. I noticed that my machine had installed some new windows driver updates for A-volute and Nahimic, related to sounds drivers earlier in the day. I ended up using the --nosound launch option on my shortcut and after enabling that the game launches as normal. Looks like there is some crash related to those latest drivers conflicting with PoEs sound output.

If any staff would like me to send more details information, dxdiag or whatever, please let me know and I can send to help with fixing the issue. For now I'll play with no sound.
The --nosound trick gets me into the game as well.
However, I am unwilling to play muted.
FYI - I seem to have resolved my issue by downloading and installing the latest Nahimic audio driver from the website of my motherboard's manufacturer - MSI.
thanks. i did just that and it works. I didnt even know my computer installed nahimic sound drivers until i saw it in device manager under sounds, video, and game controller. I downloaded the driver for my msi mobo and it "restored" the nahimic drivers. Now i dont see the drivers in device manager anymore. O well. Too lazy to track it down and remove it completely.

I dont know how you found out but thanks. This was defiantly the issues.
For me, the game turns off when loading a new instance, and quite often during the games themselves. within an hour many times. Unfortunately, poe has become unplayable for me.
