question about game overlays

So I was wondering If it is against TOS if I used a timer overlay of sorts? such as if I wanted to use a timer for a flask or something. lets say I have a flask on 4. If i press 4 then it pops up a number next to my character that counts down however long the flask duration is.

Well, first of all no one but support can authorize the use of any overlay, and support won’t comment on it but to recommend not. With the understanding anyone posting here may be wrong, an overlay that puts a countdown or progress bar every time you press a key is fine. If it reads the game file to know the actual flask duration and only activate with the flask, then no. The difference is the former will go off when typing in chat or any other key press, and you have to manually choose it’s duration.
