Skell totem: Totems have a fixed cast time of one second...exact the same time i need to kill the whole screen, so where do i need a skeleton totem? In the time i set it up, i already can kill all monsters, thats more save than just blokicng them. Totems arent an option for my char, if you think you need it, use it. I stay to zombis, they i can cast bevore the combat starts, so i dont need to waste time in fight for set up decoys.

Splitarrow because there i can drop GMP for an other, more usefull supportgem. I use Monsterflee, suprisly effective.

Isodor, why dont you apply Elemental Equilibrium with EA? thats what I am doing and it seems to work: I just have cold and lighting dmg on my rings and when I put the 5 EA on the monster it triggers EE, and because EA doesnt do fire dmgbefore it explodes, the monster becomes vulnerable to fire. What do you think?

Yes, it works, but you apply EE only to the main target than, not to all other targets the explosion will hit. Thats quite ineffective.
Also after the explosion, every monster will be fireresistent due EE, so you need the splitshoot(or whatever arrow you use) to apply EE again after the explosion.

I see yeah, well, since I rely principaly on the burning dmg, it doesnt matter that the other monsters arent affected by EE, because they will burn when the monster I hit spreads its burning (Elem prolif).

Another thing: How do you manage to do: 5xEA -> Elem weakness -> Flamability -> split arrow in 1 second..... with a casting time of 0.5s for each curse I absolutly CANNOT curse + split arrow them in the EA fuse time... thats why I dropped split arrow

Faster casting in the curses= 0,35 casttime=0,7 sec for both, and 0,3 sec are enought for splithoot with quillrain.

another noob question from a noob player. hehe. i already acquired the quill rain bow and an armor.. but, i am having a hard time making those to have 3 or more sockets and adding links to it as well. care to give a tip as to how you manage to do that on your items? thanks

If you are in highest difficult, 4 links arent the problem.. maybe youre cloak/bow has a low item level. Take the item on youre cursor, and type /itemlevel.

You should only try to reroll/link a quillrain/armor with itemlevel 50 or above.

Yes it does, thats why use splitshoot with no fire dmg direct after the explosion.

I have lots of mana issues!

If you have Manaissues, get bloodmagic. The manacost will soon increase massive more....but not youre manapool.
