[Clarification] - Maximum Chance to Block
So if i understand right, the cap for block is 75%.
+3% from gladiator = 78% +4% from violent retaliation = 82% +3% from "the anvil" = 85% am i calculating something wrong? Why i have "only" 82%? Where are the other 3%? Last bumped on Dec 9, 2019, 11:16:20 AM

Because just picking gladiator doesn't give you anything.
The only perks you get from there that actually give you anything are the ones where you place points. Edit: The Scion Gladiator gives you +3% to maximum. I think that's what you're thinking about. Duelist Gladiator doesn't get that. But then the Scion gladiator doesn't get the +4 from duelist Last edited by imanubcake on Dec 9, 2019, 10:22:55 AM

As i said i have
gladiator+violent retaliation+the anvil so my MAX block chance (not my CURRENT) should be 85%. Yet, my MAX is 82%. Why is that?' EDIT: " The Gladiator from duelist (Ascendant) gives you +3% ofcorse... EDIT2: Oh yes i understand what u mean. So how the Tahreyn's Block Herald of Agony Gladiator gets the 83% block? 1% more from mine? Last edited by ConnorMacLeod7h on Dec 9, 2019, 10:49:16 AM

Only Scion becomes the Ascendant. And then you can pick one
Actual Duelist ascends to become Champion, Duelist or Slayer. And picking Gladiator as Scion ascendancy gets you the +3% to maximum chance to block attack damage But you can not get Violent Retaliation as Scion. And you can't get the Scion ascendancy gladiator as actual duelist. I swear this is the second time someone asks about this and doesn't understand when they get answered. edit: I've no idea about that build because I'm not familiar with it.
