The way "A Master Seeks Help - X" have always worked is, if you stick a map directly in the crapdevice and hit the button, you have a chance of triggering the prophecy and X will appear with a free atlas mission.

It doesn't interact with or affect the atlas mission counters at right on your atlas view.

Of course, if you walk over to Einhar and hand him the map and do one of his banked dailies, the prophecy for Niko won't proc because it checks against the "one master per map" policy. Since Einhar is already 100% guaranteed, the prophecy doesn't trigger.

It'll also trigger if you go to a zone in Acts where this master can appear, even if you don't want to waste your Niko on say, Foothills.

If you already have a prophecy that specifies Foothills (e.g. spiff up the Magnate by beating Boulderback with it in your inv) that will almost always proc first, and Niko's prophecy will just stay dormant.

If you do accidentally trigger your Niko prophecy in acts, even if you totally ignore him and do not touch the deposits of sulphite in the zone, the prophecy is considered spent and you're out of luck. Be careful...plan ahead.

I wonder what he'd been up to after he made his granite flask (Rumi's Concoction). Now we know.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Um... why not just make a card that grants sulfite and cut out the middleman?

Take your SSF hat off for a minute, and you'll have your answer.
I've found stuff like Dream Trial procs in low-tier maps more reliably than yellows/reds. I wonder if there's something similar for Nico missions. I'd hate for it to hit on white maps or whatever the equivalent is come Conquerors but not t:15/Guardian.

Why not just cut out sulphite like they should have before Delve even started and all the feedback since then has been telling them to? Oh yeah - Chris is too stubborn to let them, that's why (said so in a podcast himself). We are made to put up with horrible gameplay experiences (hello, trade) and antiquated design like this, and even get roundabout divination card designs like this, because of their refusal to budge. Boy, we all really want to get cards... for a prophecy... to find Niko... to get sulphite.

Cards like this are essentially them rubbing salt in the wound, especially after the, what, 10 or 11 times they've modified how sulphite gains work now?
(2-3-2019) Buff underused skills (3.23?!)+ selfcast, stop nerfing defense, build in threshold jewels (3.23?!), implement D3-style looting, add death log + MTX preview, actually rework flasks, stop balancing around the .01%, unnerf Harvest, ADD NEW WAYS TO LEVEL, finally implement Loot 2.0

Look another card that will be rarer than an exalt.
