Worldcarver gloves. What are examples of "Map Item Modifiers?"

I'm wondering what all the sources of modifiers are. I think map affixes, stuff like "Area is inhabited by Demons" is one such modifier. Since you can roll 8-mod maps, these gloves seem to have a bit of potential even if it's a bit niche.

My question is, are things like sextant mods also counted as map modifiers? If I wanted to go full try-hard mode and roll 4-5 sextants, an 8-mod corrupted map, on top of stuff like a tempest prophecy that might proc, are all of those counted as well? Is stuff like Plague of Frogs a map item modifier? Casually speaking lots of prophecies modify a map in some way. Then I'm also wondering about Zana map mods you can buy such as Bloodlines or Harbinger.
